Disclosure to Alleged Victims

Disclosure to alleged victims of crimes of violence or non-sex offenses.

Adelphi University will, upon written request, disclose to the alleged victim of a crime of violence including forcible sexual offenses, non-forcible sex offenses, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking, the results of any disciplinary hearing conducted by the university against the student who is the alleged perpetrator of the crime or offense.  If the alleged victim is deceased as a result of the crime or offense, Adelphi University will provide the results of the disciplinary hearing to the victim’s next of kin, if so requested.

A sexual assault brochure is available to download or you can pick one up at the offices of Public Safety or Student Affairs.

Students’ complaints of sexual misconduct, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking against employees of the University are to be filed with the Department of Public Safety and Transportation the Title IX Coordinator, or any campus authority.
