Campus Safety Training

Keeping Adelphi safe is everyone’s responsibility. When an emergency situation arises, the people who can remain calm and are prepared hold a greater chance of having a successful outcome. The Department of Public Safety has a number of training programs with regards to an Active Shooter/Hostile Intruder, Emergency Preparedness and Fire Safety.

Join the Panther Emergency Support Team

In the event of an emergency incident occurring on campus The Department of Public Safety may choose to call upon the Panther Emergency Support Team (P.E.S.T.) to augment The Department’s response capabilities. The P.E.S.T. Team is an all-volunteer group of faculty and staff who are trained to support The Department by providing specially trained personnel to provide assistance in the form of operating phone banks, staffing the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), and assisting Public Safety at the scene of an incident.  If you’re a faculty or staff member and you would like to become a member please complete the form below, you’ll be contacted with information regarding the next P.E.S.T. training academy.
